For maintenance treatments, following the below outlined protocol seems to work for most people.

Important: do not wait to treat yourself only after you sweat again like some other sources on the internet recommend. This is incorrect and can cause a "loss" of the Iontophoresis effect. The best way to achieve permanent and continuing success is to have a maintenance schedule that keeps the sweat at bay all the time. If you hold back on your next maintenance treatment till you start sweating profusely, you might have to treat yourself many days in a row again to regain success.

First, make sure to note down how many CONSECUTIVE days of Iontophoresis treatments it took for you to achieve initial success. Then, multiply that number
by 1.5.

So, for example, if it took you 8 days of daily treatments to get initial success/dryness, then 8 * 1.5 = 12. So in this case, 12 is the magic
number you will use to derive your maintenance treatment schedule.

Now, for 12 (your magic number) days, your maintenance schedule should consist of treatment on alternate days.

So on day 1, take a break from treatment. On day 2, perform the Iontophoresis treatment on yourself. On day 3 take a break. On day 4, perform treatment.
And so on, through day 12 (your magic number), when you perform treatment on yourself.

Then, for the next 12 days (again, your magic number), alternate 2 days of no treatment followed by 1 day of treatment.

Then, for the next 12 days, alternate 3 days of no treatment followed by 1 day of treatment.

Then, for the next 12 days, alternate 4 days of no treatment followed by 1 day of treatment.

At this point, if you start sweating, 4 days of break from treatment might be too much for you and you need to stick to a schedule of 3 days treatment break followed by one day of treatment. However, once you start sweating again, you will first need to do daily treatments until you see a complete cessation in sweating, prior to getting on to the 3 days treatment 1 day break schedule.

If you do not sweat in the 4 day break, 1 day treatment maintenance program, you can try 5 days break and 1 day treatment.

You can hopefully see the logic behind this.

For a lot of people, initial success will only come after around 15 days. In that case, the magic number would be 15 * 1.5 = 22.5
in this case you can round to 22 or 23 to get your magic number!

Tip: Some users have good luck with doing treatments in a row and saving the other treatment days: e.g.: if you have to do 4 times a week 15 minutes, some users have the same result when doing it twice a week half an hour, or one time 1 hours. We recommend to do this carefully with regard to your skin condition, but with this schedule a lot of customers can treat in advance for longer pauses.
