Nakon Genisys, koji je u očima fanova, potpuno flopao, sada nam dolazi novi nastavak serijala. Prema članku
TheTerminatorFans, zasada je samo poznato da se vrača Arnold Schwarznegger, ali i da iza cijelog koncept novog Terminator filma, stoji nitko drugi nego -
James Cameron.
"Our pal The Austrian Oak tells us that Arnold has revealed that the concept behind the new movie has been forwarded by none other than James Cameron himself."
Prvi draft scenarija, bi morao biti završen več sljedeči mjesec, iako se još nezna tko je ili su scenaristi. Takodjer, snimanje bi moralo počet več sljedeče godine u ožujku.
"What’s more, the first draft of the script is due in September, with a view to begin filming in 2018."
Redateljsku stolicu bi morao, prema nekim
glasinama, preuzeti Tim Miller (Deadpool), kojeg želi i sam James Cameron.
