Da ne kazes kako sve ovo pisem iz glave, vecinu stvari ovdje iznesenih mozes procitati i u izvrsnom review clanku objavljenog u Scientific Americanu:

Wald, Mathew L., "Questions about Hydrogen Economy", Sci. Am., 5, Vol 290, 40-47

I on kaze:
"In fact, the gas (hydrogen) is not a fuel in conventional sense. A fuel is something gound in nature, lika coal, or refined from a natural product, like diesel fuel from oil, and then burned to do work. Pure hydrogen does not exist naturally on earth and is so highly processed that it is really a carrier or medium for storing and transporting energy from some original source to a machine that makes electricity."
