Nije iz WW2 vec iz WW1 ali morao sam staviti ovo biserje...

Quote:

"The machine gun is a much over rated weapon.."
Field marshall, Douglas Haig - 1915.

"Very successful attack this morning... All went like clockwork... The battle is going very well for us and already the Germans are surrendering freely. The enemy is so short of men that he is collecting them from all parts of the line. Our troops are in wonderful spirits and full of confidence."
A Report by Haig on the first day of attack(Somme), 1st July 1916

"I believe that the value of the horse and the opportunity for the horse in the future are likely to be as great as ever. Aeroplanes and tanks are only accessories to the men and the horse, and I feel sure that as time goes on you will find just as much use for the horse - the well-bred horse - as you have ever done in the past"
Field marshall, Douglas Haig - 1926. 10 godina nakon pojave prvih bodljikavih zica i mitraljeskih gnijezda(kasnije i tenkova) i dokazane neucinkovitosti vojne konjice protiv istih.
