Grozno!

To marry in Croatia, Croatian authorities require the following:

Valid passport.

Birth certificate translated into Croatian by a sworn court interpreter; the birth certificate must bear an apostille and must be a new copy issued within the past 90 days.

A sworn statement, which must be authenticated by an authority of the foreigner's country, stating that the person in question is a citizen of that country, that he/she is free to marry, and that the marriage contracted in Croatia will be regarded as valid by the authorities of that country.
This sworn statement must be authenticated by the Consular Section of the Croatian Foreign Ministry, located at Medulićeva 34, 10000 Zagreb. The contact number at the Ministry is (385) (1) 4598-038. The fee is 60 kunas payable in cash in kunas.

If the foreigner does not speak Croatian, he/she will have to obtain the services of a court appointed translator for the marriage ceremony.

If one of the marriage partners is divorced or widowed, proof of the dissolution of previous marriage (i.e., divorce decree or death certificate) is required; similarly, an apostille is required on those documents.
