Uzmemo li u obzir činjenice da:
1) Pola kokoši ne može snesti jaje, te
2) Kokoš ne može snesti pola jajeta;
Logično je za zaključiti da kokoš iz ovog zadatka snese jedno jaje dnevno.
Dakle, za pet dana će snesti pet jaja, a samim time će tri kokoši snesti 15 jaja u pet dana.
