Maro Jokovic (CRO) said: "After yesterday's loss we were very depressed. We took it very hard but we knew it was not over yet because there was still a chance for a medal. We just had to show our knowledge of water polo and we did that. We deserve this medal because we were better.
"Serbia is a very powerful team, with a huge water polo tradition. We didn't
think it would be this easy but after the second period we took advantage of
them being down and we went up.
"We expected the finals, unfortunately it didn't happen, and we just put our
heads together to win the bronze."
