Di je registry baza kod winXP???

Pozdrav svima.

Zanima me gdje je skriven registry kod winXP???
win98 je imao user.dat i system.dat (jel jesu??? valjda se sjećam...) i iste .old datoteke.
Eh, kako je to kod winXP???
Jer jedan je frend išo, jeli, pogledat kaj ima u registryu, pa se sad windowsi zblesiraju: crni ekran i pointer. ne ide ni safe mode, ni repair (isključen).
Pa ono... di je to skriveno?

Eto što kaže internet:

zar nije da nakon svakog spremanja registrya regedit napravi kopiju prijašnjeg stanja negdje? Pa se u slučaju sranja datoteke u kojima je spremljen registry samo zamijene tim sigurnosnim kopijama?
Zar nema toga???
Zar ću morat reinstalirat cijeli sustav???

Imas opciju "export" u regedit za to.
