Najbolji početni stihovi pjesama i/ili albuma

S obzirom da mnogi od nas vole liste, palo mi je na pamet otvoriti topic o ovoj, čini mi se, rijetko elaboriranoj temi.
Počeci su uvijek važni, jednako kao i krajevi, bilo u "stvarnom" životu, bilo u umjetnosti. Nerijetko početni stihovi imaju tu moć da nas udare u glavu ili
obore s nogu ili barem savršeno sažimaju filozofiju glazbenika i uvode nas direktno u njihov svijet.

Iz glave za početak dajem neke svoje priloge:

Što se početaka tiče, ovi mi prvi padaju na pamet:

Dobro, nije baš za umirat u ljepoti i vedrini , ali iz nekih razloga su meni dojmljivi.

Ne znam kako bih se postavio prema završnim stihovima, ali mislim da je tu obilježenost u pjevanoj pjesmi manja nego recimo u filmu, gdje je odličan kraj/odlična scena, kadar u stanju podići stvar za stepenicu-dvije više.
Mislim da je to iz dva razloga: pjevana pjesma obično završava ili ponavljanjem refrena ili instrumentalnim dijelom, a to već u startu pomalo smanjuje stihovni naboj.

Recim da bi mi friškiji primjeri bile pjesme sa zadnjeg albuma Mount Eerieja A Crow Looked at Me, inače mog favorita iz ove godine, u cijelosti posvećenog temi smrti autorove supruge, pri čemu u mnogim stvarima zaključni stihovi mogu biti interpretirani kao nadgrobni epitafi: "I keep picking you berries", "Death is real", "I love you", "You are the sunset"...

Dobro, ovo za temu o završnim stihovima je više bila kao šala , morao sam nekako upotrijebit zadnji stih iz in the aeroplane over the sea
Makar, slažem se s tobom.

Puno sam slušao a crow looked at me zadnjih mjeseci. Doduše, dozirao sam slušanje, previše emocija jednostavno.
Nikad nisam čuo da netko ovako, u potpunosti ogoljeno i otvoreno, progovara o tuzi koja ispunjava svakodnevnicu nakon smrti voljenje osobe i način na koji evocira uspomene na nju. Da... Death is real, na rubu suza.

I još bi spomenuo, meni barem, jedno vrhunsko otvaranje albuma: turn on the bright lights od interpola, pjesma untitled, gitarski uvod pa stihovi - surprise, sometimes, will come around...

Vidim da vi dečki navodite cijele uvodne strofe. Nisam baš tako to zamislio - Jules i Kvart99 su najbliže onom što mi je bilo na pameti - ali nek vam bude.

Evo još jednog priloga: "In 1984 I was hospitalized for approaching perfection" koji otvara genijalnu Random Rules s klasičnog albuma American Water Silver Jewsa, jednog od najviših dometa indie-rocka 90-ih, spominje se kao jedno od najboljih otvaranja albuma ikad. Moram se složiti.
