Need for Speed: ProStreet

u studenom dolazi novi nfs,pod nazivom prostreet.biće baziran na dx10,a to znaći da će sve puno biti realnije te će se auti napokon moći razlupati,i to do kraja-razletjet će se gume,stakla,lim...i čuo sam da će onaj autosculpt bit još bolji...trailer i screenshotove skinite na http://www.gamershell.com/pc/need_for_speed_prostreet/
i izgleda da će se vozit u poligonima...zapravo ne znam,samo da je EA taj NFS službeno najavio,i dolazi I ZA PC i za konzole početkom studenog

Osim kaj meni nije prednost kaj će se auti moć razbit, ak će bit na dx10, znači ja komp mogu bacit u smeće...
Nisam očekivao dx10 igre tak rano.

A sto se tice xd10, kazu da ce igra podrzavati dx9 i dx10! Da je radjena samo za dx 10 pa ni 5% populacije koja to igra, ne bi mogla igrat! Ja na svu srecu imam xd10 karticu ali zamisli kako bi bilo da naprave samo za dx10... pa prodaja bi im krenula tek za koju god ili god i pol od izlaska igre!
Uglavnom bit sigurno je to da ce biti igriva i na dx9 karticama!

i da..trebala bi izaci pocetkom 11 mj... a sto se tice grafike... ostao sam puf...preljepa je...
Ali cini mi se da ce biti samo 402 race i drift race.. ali to je jedino sto sam vidio u filmicu pa necu nagadjeti... i moram priznati da mi je jako drago sto su napokon stavili da se moze raditi dmg autu!

Additionally they mention the minimum system requirements, but we will see if we can rely on that, because 250 MB RAM for such a game seems doesn't seem to be enough:

CPU: 1.6 GHz
RAM: 256 MB
Graphics Card: 256 MB
DVD-Drive

pa na tome ni carbon ne bi radio a ovo ima way lijepsu grafiku... hm...

bit će šteta ako se ne bude moglo voziti po gradu kao do sada. ovaj novi nastavak mi nekako vuče na drift utrke koje se održavaju po Japanu i Americi. više ništa ne vjerujem EA-u i neću previše očekivati jer svaki put prije izlazka napumpaju igre do iznemoglosti marketinškim potezima da čovjek jednostavno mora uzeti igru da je odigra i na kraju bude većim dijelom igre razočaran

kakvi su ovo komentari? 256MB previše za grafičku? čovječe imaš danas grafičke od 760MB...256 je standard...danas frend kupio 7300GT 256 za 600kn...pa ako vam je to previše...

a dx10 kartice rekao mi prodavač da ima od 8500 na dalje i ako se sjećam cijena je oko 636kn to je malo više ali onda si na miru imaš dx10 i to je to...plus 256-512 MB

sad tek vidim da se frend sjebao...platio je mislim 645kn svoju a mogao je uzeti 8500 ali jedino mu ne bi pasala na matičnu...

inače jedva čekam (kao uvijek) da izađe NFS (taman meni oko rođendana) i derrrrriiii...a do 11mj ću si valjda priuštiti neku bolju graf dx10 ili 8500 ili 8800 ili šta bude tad...

vidio filmić...prejebeno će izgledati damage i dim i utkre i sve...jedino šteta šta nema free roama...

da to je glupo šta nema free roam,al ja inaće obožavam drift...a vidli su da je carbon sranje nad sranjima pa su izbacili ovo...al je ćudno kak su brzo ga napravili...mene sam zanima oće bit free roam i kakovi auteki će bit

It's been annouced, but what is it? What is Pro Street? The answer is simple. Pro Street is pure street racing competition. The essence of the performance tuner and what he, or she, wants to be: the Street King.

So will the be a massive open road with tons cops and crashes and completely innocent drivers cruising the city streets getting involved in the mayhem? No. You will compete for the first time since the Underground series launched on real roads in real environments set during daylight hours from around the globe. An echo of classic Need for Speed taken to a whole new level.

This year will have a story like some of the previous titles but there will be no green-screen cut scenes or comic book Underground 2 type stuff this year.

What kind of races will be taking place on these roads? Well, the Need For Speed team at Black Box has come up with four race modes this year for Need For Speed, all inspired by the events that real street car tuners participate in. Grip (circuit), Speed Challenge (checkpoint), Drift, and Drag (yes, it's back!).

Grip racing is pretty much the same familar circuit racing you've always known but enhanced the the amazing new Pro Street physics engine and damage model (which I'll discuss later). You drive around Grip tracks may differ thanks to the new ability to turn off Arcade driving assists, making the experience much more real.

Speed Challenge is being described as being similar to checkpoint races but not much has revealed at this time. I was told many variants of this game mode will exist. Enough to keep us busy for a long time.

Drifting returns again this year with several new additions. Its more real this time. You manage your own line, your won speed and your own angle using real world drift techniques, such as e-brake slides, power over, feinting, and even clutch kicking. Drifting uses the same physics model the rest of the game uses, not the super slide the older titles used. Of course there will be a Drift Assist to help you manage your line in case your not quite that Hardcore.

Drag is back after a one year hiatus and guess what? I'm going to leave you completely in the dark about drag. I'll just let you know its not an obstacle course.

Sprint and Speedtrap are gone yes, but I'm told most Sprint fans will take a liking to the speed challenges and maybe Speedtrap might be one of those many variants.

The customization of Pro Street has been greatly enhanced this year. You'll be able to customize your car with literally thousands of aftermarket parts from real world manufacturers. This enables you to truly create purpose built racing machines for each of the games specific race modes. The garage size of the career mode I'm told will be increased to accommodate this since you will most definately need much more cars this game.

Not only is the performance tuning greatly enhanced, but different aftermarket parts from different brands will have different effects on you car. Exactly what those effects will be at this stage is still not clear. Once you install one of these perfomance parts you'll unlock its decal so you'll know that if a car pulls up next to you and it has some serious labels on the side that you might be in trouble. Deep trouble. But on the other hand, he might not have any labels.

So, say you built an awesome car, but you want to strip it down and build a better setup, but you don't want to lose the old one because the new one might not be so good. No problem, you can save you setups as blueprints. These blueprints will store the data of your car so that it can be retreived by you at anytime. You also be able to upload blueprints and share them with friends online. You'll even be able to put the newly redisgned Dyno to the test to see benchmark results of your blueprint.

Autosculpt is back as well, and this time, it's everything. Every spoiler, every kit, every hood, that includes the stock components. Autosculpting now affects the performance of your car unlike Carbon. You'll be able to take your car through a wind tunnel and alter specific details of you body kit, hood and and spoiler to make your car more aerodynamic and increase (or decrease) the downforce.

All components can now be converted to other materials such as Carbon Fiber, again this includes stock parts. This mateerial conversion will have an adverse affect on the car's weight as well. Carbon Fiber can be painted this year, but when you get a good look, you'll know it's Carbon Fiber! Even more so when you get behind the wheel!

The graphics have been hyped up for Pro Street. All the cars have been built focusing on next generation technology and everything, I mean everything looks much more real. It doesn't look cheesy it doesn't look cartoony, it looks amazingly real. The roadways, the dirt (which has amazing physics btw), the atmosphere, the lighting, its all incredible.

And speaking of the cars, I'm sure you'll want to know this years car list. Ha ha! You though I was going to tell you didn't you! Well, I'm not! Ha ha! The cars in the screens are the only ones you'll know of. For now at least! But what I will tell is that there is a huge, very well-rounded and unique list this year. The list will include around 26 manufacturers and more then 60 cars. Only eight supercars will be featured this time around though making them as rare in street racing as they truly are. Will this also make them more coveted in Pro Street? I'll guess we'll have to wait and see now won't we?

There are things I'm I going to push on developement, let me know what you think of the ideas.

1: Selling your cars and/or blueprints online for in game credits.
2: Autoscuptable splitters to add to your car, (splitters are like front spoliers that add lots of downforce).
3: When you put a number on your car, have the option to mirror and flip it to the other side.
4: Replays that you can save and share online with friends. And maybe even a way to watch these online replays or races and make bets for in game currency based off of who you think will win.
5: Online Career: being able to swap out AI controlled opponents with real people.

And finally, I'm sure some of you are dying to know the answer to this question: Did I play Pro Street? Yes, I did. Feel free to be jealous
