Po prvi put od 2014. godine, Izraelci će svog predstavnika odabrati internim putem. Kako je KAN objavio na svom sajtu, oformit će se žiri s 9 članova, među kojima su profesionalci iz televizijske i glazbene industrije, koji će prvo odabrati izvođača, pa potom pjesmu.
